Introduction to Easy-Undelete 3.0

Easy-Undelete 3.0 is a powerful utility for recovering deleted files on NTFS, FAT32, FAT16 and FAT12 volumes, and even unformatted and unpartitioned drives, or drives with non-Windows partitions. Easy-Undelete 3.0 scans your hard drive in one of three special scanning modes, and calculates the likelihood of recovery for every deleted file it locates.

Three Advanced Scanning Methods

Easy-Undelete 3.0 features three powerful scanning methods, to cover any kind of damage or data loss:

• The Basic scanning method is fast and reliable, and can recover folder structure and original file names.

• The Physical scanning method can recover files from reformatted volumes.

• The Exhaustive Physical scanning method can recover files from unformatted or repartitioned drives, and can even recover files from unsupported volumes (for e.g., from Linux or OS X drives).

Image and Text preview

Unlike any other recovery tools, Easy-Undelete 3.0 offers powerful automatic preview capabilities. All files can be displayed as binary data, and JPEG, PNG, TIF and other popular image files can be previewed directly in Easy-Undelete 3.0, without even having to recover them first!

The Image Preview feature is ideal for digital photographers and graphic artists - it can be used to fully recover files from a damaged or accidentally formatted digital camera memory card, saving time, work and money, and preventing any irreversible loss.

Advanced Search Capabilities

Deleted files are displayed in an Explorer-like interface, with options for searching deleted files by name or a wildcard mask, just like searching for regular files in Windows Explorer.

Easy-Undelete 3.0 runs on Windows 95 OSR2, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP and 2003.

Under WindowsNT, 2000, XP and 2003, Easy-Undelete 3.0 must be run with Administrator privileges.
