Ideally, Easy-Undelete 3.0 should already be installed on your system when you want to recover deleted files; The process of installing any software can cause data loss and decrease the chances of recovering deleted files. If you don't yet have Easy-Undelete 3.0 Installed, follow these instructions to minimize data loss on the target drive:
Stop all activities on the target system - close all running application, and don't launch new ones.
Install Easy-Undelete 3.0 on another computer.
Copy Easy-Undelete 3.0 to the target computer, or share it over the network:
If the target computer is running Windows NT, 2000, XP or 2003, copy the file EasyUndelete.exe to a floppy drive, or burn it to CD-ROM.
If the target computer is running Windows 95 OSR2, 98, or ME, copy the files EasyUndelete9x.exe, dsk9x16.dll, dsk9x32.dll to a floppy drive, or burn them to a CD-ROM.
If both computers are on the same network, you can share the folder where you installed Easy-Undelete 3.0, and access the appropriate files from the network.
Launch Easy-Undelete 3.0 on the target computer from the floppy, CD, or network share.
